Three installed devices do not automatically mean three people watch at once.

Use a real evening

Moving from the TV to a phone may be one active stream. If someone else starts a different programme while the first continues watching, there is overlapping use. Count the highest realistic overlap in the intended household.

Rules differ between accounts

Providers can apply plan, location and home-network restrictions. Fubo’s help page distinguishes plans and location rules; its allowances should not be assumed to apply elsewhere. Fubo’s explanation.

Compare annual provider costs

For 12 months, the first stream costs US$75, a second adds US$65 and a third adds US$55: two total US$140 and three total US$195. We also offer 3- and 6-month terms. No 1-month subscriptions are offered. Hardware, applicable taxes and separately selected services are additional.

One live programme and one movie need not mean two playlist streams

Someone watches a live game through your chosen provider while another viewer watches a movie or episode through Stremio with their separately purchased torrent/debrid service. The Stremio VOD stream does not consume a your chosen provider connection. This can cost less than adding another playlist stream: compare the chosen debrid service’s subscription price over the same period. If both viewers want Live TV, you still need two your chosen provider streams.

A separate VOD route when the playlist’s VOD is unavailable

Stremio with a torrent/debrid service can add redundancy for movies and TV shows because it uses a different viewing route from the playlist’s VOD. It is not a promise that both routes have identical catalogues, that a particular title is available, or that they cannot fail together. This Stremio option does not add Live TV. A separate live-TV service would be a different purchase.

Keep the accounts and costs clear

Stremio is the player; add-ons and the selected source service determine what can be played. The customer purchases and owns the debrid account. Confirm its rules for simultaneous playback, account sharing, network addresses and VPN use before planning who watches where. Do not assume one debrid account supports separate households or different network locations at once. Stremio’s official description.
