Free vs Premium TiviMate: what a lifetime licence changes
Published October 22, 2026
Free TiviMate lets you try watching a playlist. TiviMate Premium unlocks the tools that turn a basic player into a much more personal TV experience.
Free versus Premium: what changes?
The free version is a starting point for basic live-channel playback and browsing the guide supplied with your playlist. Premium is the paid feature unlock. Installing the app alone does not mean those features are activated.
| What you want to do | Free version | Licensed TiviMate Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Watch a supplied live playlist | Basic playback and guide browsing | Playback with the wider set of viewing and customization tools |
| Manage multiple playlists | Limited to one playlist | Manage and switch between multiple playlists |
| Build favourite-channel collections | Restricted | Keep frequently watched channels together for quicker access |
| Record programmes | Not available | Recording, subject to device storage and service connection allowance |
| Watch several channels on one screen | Not available | Multiview, subject to device performance and enough simultaneous connections |
| Use catch-up broadcasts | Not available | Catch-up where the playlist provider supplies it |
| Personalize your viewing | Limited controls | More control over the interface, channel organization and viewing preferences |
Check the Premium screen in your installed version for its current feature list. TiviMate is designed for Android TV and remote-control navigation; it is not optimized for phone and tablet touchscreens. The developer describes its playlist, guide, search, recording, multiview and customization features on the official TiviMate website and Google Play listing.
Why the difference matters on your main TV
Opening a working channel is only the beginning. A favourite list puts your regular viewing within reach. A well-organized guide lets you browse when you have no particular programme in mind. Multiple playlists give you a way to move between your own services, while recording and multiview serve different viewing habits.
Those features still need the right setup. Recording needs suitable storage; watching and recording different channels together can require additional service connections. Multiview needs a device capable of decoding the selected streams. Catch-up depends on the provider carrying past broadcasts.
A Premium licence and a prepared guide do different jobs
The licence unlocks app features. It does not automatically clean up a provider’s groups, remove poor channel choices or map missing guide information. StreamSolved’s Setup supplies our prepared channel organization and guide mappings for the supported playlist, then checks the result on your device.
That combination makes searching and surfing more useful: a capable player, organized channels and guide information matched to the channels you actually watch. Programme search still depends on the available schedule; event-labelled sports channel names provide another search route.
Annual or lifetime?
TiviMate offers subscription and one-time lifetime purchase options. The developer describes lifetime as a single payment without recurring app-licence charges. The licence does not include a content subscription; any streaming service remains separate. Read TiviMate’s purchase terms.
